Hello
I'm Lynda Fitzpatrick, a clinical hypnotherapist, who helps people navigate stress, anxiety, and life's challenges. I combine hypnotherapy with complementary approaches to support clients in feeling calm, confident, and in control of their wellbeing.
About Me
Although my career has been mostly in finance and accounting roles, I've always been drawn to health and wellbeing. Whilst working in London, I also trained as a fitness instructor. I returned to Scotland so my child could grow up near family and continued in finance-related work until, following extreme anxiety after a challenging life event, I left my job to study complementary therapies full time. I was motivated to explore ways to help others overcome similar struggles. Volunteering as a therapist in a hospice was a deeply moving experience, revealing the incredible strength people have when facing life’s biggest challenges and inspiring me to explore approaches that support wellbeing at a deeper level.
Why Hypnotherapy?
Following my counselling studies, I realised hypnotherapy was a better fit for me. I love its solution-focused approach and the fascinating way it works with the subconscious mind. What I find most rewarding is when clients have insights that were previously hidden beneath conscious mental noise, or when issues resolve so naturally at a subconscious level that you don't even realise the problem has gone - it simply stops affecting you.
What To Expect
Working with me can be fun, even exciting, whilst feeling deeply calm. I create experiences that show you how your thoughts directly affect your body, and we work together to help you vividly imagine your future self achieving your goals and feeling fantastic. During sessions, I might teach you EFT (tapping) techniques or self-hypnosis practices you can use between sessions, giving you practical tools to support your ongoing progress.
