Hello
I'm Lynda Fitzpatrick, and I help people move from feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed to feeling calm, confident, and in control.
About Me
Most of my career was in finance, but I've always been drawn to health and wellbeing. After training as a fitness instructor in London and studying reflexology and aromatherapy back in Scotland, I volunteered in a hospice, an experience that revealed the incredible strength people have when facing life's biggest challenges.
Why Hypnotherapy?
While I explored counselling, I discovered hypnotherapy and immediately knew it was the right fit. I love its solution-focused approach and the fascinating way it works with the subconscious mind. What I find most rewarding is when clients have insights that were previously hidden beneath conscious mental noise. Sometimes issues resolve so naturally at a subconscious level that you don't even realise the problem has gone, it simply stops affecting you.
Additional Training & Techniques
I hold diplomas in hypnotherapy and am also a qualified NLP practitioner, EFT practitioner, and Life Coach. I've completed specialist training in polyvagal theory, trauma, and narcissistic abuse recovery, which informs my understanding of the nervous system and how past experiences shape current wellbeing. I'm also currently training as a nutrition coach, which allows me to support clients more holistically. I'm fascinated by how our physical health, from nutrition to sleep, interconnects with our mental and emotional wellbeing, and I bring this broader understanding into my practice.
What To Expect
Working with me can be fun, even exciting, whilst feeling deeply calm. I create experiences that show you how your thoughts directly affect your body, and we work together to help you vividly imagine your future self achieving your goals and feeling fantastic. During sessions, I might teach you EFT (tapping) techniques or self-hypnosis practices you can use between sessions, giving you practical tools to support your ongoing progress.
